Survival Guide
Being an introvert is paying off big right now. I can only imagine how uncomfortable things are for those not accustom to staying home and having time to yourself.

I self isolate often for my own mental health. Too much social stimulation exhausts me. As with any exhaustion my mind, body and soul become weak and I rely on unhealthy systems to keep me going. This is when I pull back and focus on balance.

Remember everyone out there risking their lives, would give anything to be safe at home.

Podcasts
A few years ago I was a virgin to listening to Podcasts and ironically my "first" was, My Dad Wrote a Porno
This may not be to everyone's liking, but it sure gave me some roaring moments of laughter as well as a funny moment of cheeky embarrassment.
Late one fall evening, on a quiet dark bus ride from upstate NY to Manhattan. I was listening to MDWAP with headphones when suddenly they ran out of battery. Fumbling with my iPhone audio, sounds of Belinda's rendevous blurted out into the sleepy rows of strangers. Quickly I was able to hit pause. An awkward 360 degree glance showed most people still napping. I had a good laugh thinking how ridiculous it is that we are not more open about sexuality (healthy, humorous, open dialogue promotes knowledge and removes fear and taboo behaviors). But alas, that's a topic for another time.

Here are a few more podcasts that have provided some knowledge, laughter and inspiration:

Snap Judgement
Michelle Obama on Spotify
Girlboss
WTF w/ Marc Maron
Oprah and Eckhart Tolle: A New Earth (this changed my life)
Story Corps
SciFri
The Reith Lectures
The Moth
